Flowers

These are the pictures of flowers I took over the weekend. They are not edited at all.
I liked this picture because of the grass going right through the dandelion.

I liked the color of this flower and the ant on it.
I really liked the middle of this flower and the color of it.
This is a flower after the rain slowed down on Saturday.
And a different angle of it.
 Some more after the rain.
The same flower as up higher just not opened all the way.

Portraits and Self Portrait

For our last assignment we had to shoot portraits. We went camping on friday night and I took the children to the park, which made great pictures.
My grandma's birthday is coming up and her pontoon was a wreck. So for her birthday we re-carpeted it and power washed it so it looked much better. I was the photographer for the whole thing and the before and after pictures. Here is my dad and his girlfriend in action taking the sides off.
Shutter: 1/80
Aperture: f/4.0
Focal length: 12 mm
ISO Speed: 200

Here is McKenna and Dante hitting each other with noodles. This one of my favorites because of their expressions even though it is kind of a dark picture.
Shutter: 1/60
Aperture: f/4.5
Focal Length: 19.76 mm
ISO Speed: 500
This is my self portrait. It is me in my environment. i agree with the teacher portraits are better when your not concentrating on the camera so I had my cousin take my picture.
Shutter: 1/80
Aperture: f/4.0
Focal Length: 8.71 mm
ISO Speed: 80
This is probably my favorite of all weekend because we were on the merry-go-round and I got a picture of her and she is clear, but the background is blurry so when you look at the picture you feel like you are spinning and I love her expression.
Shutter: 1/60
Aperture: f/3.4
Focal Length: 5 mm
ISO Speed: 200

This is my niece Madilyn and her best friend (boyfriend) Kalan on our way to the park. I have a picture like this of them when they first started walking too. I think the will get married when they are older.
Shutter: 1/100
Aperture: f/3.4
Focal Length: 5 mm
ISO Speed: 400

This is Kylee and Kattie playing at the park when we were camping. I like this picture because they are so into playing they aren't looking at me and have nice faces.

Aperture: f/4.5
Focal length: 15.08 mm

Patterns

This assignment for this past weekend was patterns. I didn't do very well on this assignment because I was so busy. My grandma had a slight heart attack so we went to visit her and I wish I had my camera with me because there was a lot of patterns when we went to visit.  My dad bought a new house so we were moving things into the new house and I forgot my camera at the old house, but I did get a couple.
We were drawing with chalk before visiting my grandma and I wrote my stepsisters name in a pattern.
Shutter: 1/220
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 6.2 mm
ISO Speed: 100

This is a flag we have on our front porch and it has all the old flags around it, but I took a picture of it because to red and white lines make up a pattern.
Shutter: 1/60
Aperture: f/4.7
Focal Length: 15.3 mm
ISO Speed:  50
And then the chalk again, but at a different angle.

Derivative

We had to take someone else's picture, like a photographer and redo his picture as best as we could, so i decided to do one of Keith Carter's pictures.

 Keith Carter's picture.

my picture. I had to add the hands in there and then change the color of it. The background is a little different then his, but I think it still looks nice.

My typical day

We had to take pictures all day long of what we do all day for our assignment. I did take a couple of me, but I hate pictures of me so not too many. I took pictures of my day all day, but my day was pretty boring.
My typical day includes waking up, then shower and brushing my teeth, then that is me after my shower. After my shower I do my make-up, then do my laundry. After that I went for a walk to my aunt's house, I had breakfast/lunch at her house. Then it was nap time for children while all the older kids and adults watched a movie. After nap time and the movie was over then I have to chase the little kids around. After we go back home I clean my rabbits cage so that she can mess it up again and I feed them. I have my dinner which consisted of ham sandwich and chocolate milk. After dinner I went on the computer for a little bit and finally went and brushed my teeth and went to bed. So yeah my day the day I decided to take my pictures was extremely boring.
